Rumble in the Lanes
[COMEDY – HALF HOUR]
To save her dad’s alley, a laid-off game developer and former bowling prodigy must help the captain of a local LGBTQ league sort out their shit and win nationals… if they can keep from killing each other. Or kissing each other? It’s complicated.
A spec pilot that blends live-action with frantically kinetic anime sequences, to transform the sport of bowling into something so stupidly exciting to watch it ought to be illegal.
This script was heavily inspired by sports anime like Haikyuu!! and Prince of Tennis, which I am an embarrassingly huge fan of and could talk about for hours.
Project was briefly under a shopping agreement with a mid-sized production company, but lost momentum during the strikes. C’est la vie!
Year of the Horse

An original feature-length action/adventure, “Year of the Horse” explores the history of Chinese American immigrants in the Old West. The script has won the following accolades:
- Featured on the 2020 CAPE List
- Selected for the 2020 Black List Feature Lab, with workshop mentoring by Andrew Ahn, Michael Mitnick, and Jack Thorne
- Table read for the S2 premiere of the Six Page Scripts podcast

Star Fox: The Movie

(A piece of feature-length fanfic I wrote entirely for fun.)
The galaxy is at war. And the good guys are losing.
Hunted across the stars, the denizens of the Lylat System struggle to survive against a terrifying cosmic foe: the stellar sorcerer Andross. His ships can appear anywhere. His spies walk among us. And he has the power to wipe out entire fleets single-handed. Literally.
But in the war for Lylat’s survival, one force flies in the face of Andross: the pilots of lightning-fast fighter ships called Arwings. And among the Arwing squadrons, none stand taller than the legends of Star Fox Squadron, led by hotshot captain James McCloud.
Or at least that was the case…until Andross killed them.
Now, ten years later, it’s up to James’s son, Fox, to lead a ragtag crew of young academy recruits on a desperate final mission to locate Andross’s base, destroy it, and save the galaxy once and for all!
